Nowadays the most effective means of hair removal is photo depilation. The technology of the method is the following: optical waves of different length get under the skin at different depths. Hair bulbs absorb the light accruing its thermal energy. As a result the temperature in the zone of impact rises up to the level when it destroys the follicle and the follicle dies. Photo depilation can cope with almost all kinds of hair (except completely light hair, lanugo and grey hair deprived of the pigment). So photo depilation is unprecedented in its impact upon the hair of all colours, any structure, applied for all skin types and parts of the body (bikini line, legs, arms, breast and back). Photo depilation has almost no contraindications, except acute and chronic skin diseases (eczema, psoriasis, etc.), varicose, oncological diseases, pregnancy. The main advantage of the method is a painless procedure. Only sometimes such treatment causes light and warm pricking, nothing else.
Advantages of photo depilation in comparison with the traditional methods are obvious: a narrow range of contraindication, absence of allergy, painlessness and short duration of the procedures, safety, contactlessness and the anti-stress effect. All this in full measure concerns photo depilation – the method permitting to get rid of the objectionable hair quickly, painlessly and with a steady long-lasting effect.
In the AMD Laboratory photo depilation is carried out by the apparatus Quantum HR (co-production of England and Israel) developed according to the technology of high-peak light sources. It offers a mild
non-abrasive (without scratching the skin) treatment, providing permanent effect after the removal of objectionable hair.
This device provides:
1.Complete safety of the procedure.
2.High effectiveness and speed of the depilation.
3.Low percent of hair invasion already after first procedure.
4.Painlessness.
5.Impossibility to be infected.
6.Work with any phototype of the skin, removal of all types of hair.
The procedure of photo depilation is very simple. First a cooling protective gel is applied on the skin. Then the impulses of high-frequency light are evenly made: at that moment a selective thermal impact on the hair follicles is made. This causes destruction of the cells responsible for the hair growth. Computer programs let us find out parameters of the procedure taking into account individual peculiarities of each patient. A special cooling system minimizes the discomfort. After the gel removal skin is almost clean. At the “AMD laboratory” a medical adviser will chose an individual program of photo depilation depending on the treated region of body and the thickness of hair.
