Technique
The main indications for treatment in AMD Laboratories include hair shedding, dandruff, itching, bad-looking hair, all kinds of alopecia, seborrhea and its complications. The technique used in AMD Laboratories includes the following components:
During the initial examination, patients fill in a special questionnaire. This information is then used both for diagnostics and for detection of factors which could provoke the disease (condition of the alimentary canal, nervous and endocrine systems, persistent infection, and so on). If a trichologist discovers signs of disorder of the endocrine system, patients are recommended to see an endocrinologist and/or a gynecologist. One of the most frequent reasons of hair and scalp diseases is an alimentary disorder. In this case, patients are recommended to have their alimentary tract examined by a gastroenterologist and a nutritionist. 
In AMD Laboratories, we do not use hormonal agents and, subsequently, do not perform a systemic action upon other organs. This allows to avoid negative consequences for the entire organism and makes treatment harmless and painless. Results of any treatment depend, first of all, on the detection of reasons of the disease. Thus correct initial diagnostics is crucial. In AMD Laboratories, your physician will use a trichogram to detect the type of alopecia, condition of your hair, intensity of shedding, and percentage of hair lost. The next step is the prescription of an individual 3-stage therapy aimed at the local and structural modification, stabilization and termination of hair shedding, and a partial or complete hair recovery. The treatments are performed in AMD Laboratories using medical lotions combined with point massage and thermal action on the scalp in order to improve microcirculation, to reduce head muscle tone, and to have medicines better penetrate skin. At some stages, we also use transcutaneous analgetic electric stimulation of follicles, vitamins, nutritional additives, phytotherapeutic drugs, as well as physiotherapeutic methods (cervical area massage, quantum therapy), esthetic medicine (mezotherapy, therapeutic cosmetology), oxygen-ozone therapy and IPL-treatment (photo epilation and photo rejuvenation). Patients often begin to lose their hair when they keep to a reducing, incorrect, or unbalanced diet, eat twice a day with too much time passing between meals, and so on. That is why, depending on indications, our patients are prescribed drugs for their alimentary system. Medicines for the endocrine system are also used to treat corresponding diseases. We perfectly know that no two cases of hair disease are absolutely identical, that is why the treatment we offer is strictly individual. Contraindications for treatment in AMD Laboratories include contagious skin (pediculosis, dermatomycosis) or venereal (syphilis) diseases, malignant scalp neoplasms, and manifestations of systemic dermatoses (lupus erythematosus, dermatosclerosis, dermatomyositis, etc.) involving a scalp lesion. |
